The national organization of ASTD has named the St. Louis chapter of ASTD as a "Champion of Learning" for its efforts during the annual ASTD Employee Learning Week.

The ASTD STL chapter was cited for its involvement and recognition of the important connection between learning and achieving organizational results. During the 2011 Employee Learning Week, ASTD STL sponsored a program to recognize the best learning ideas of 2011.

This year, the ASTD Employee Learning Week will be held December 3-7. Local events during that week will be announced as that date approaches.
