About the Presenter:

Dr. Roy Pollock is the Chief Learning Officer of The 6Ds® Company and co‐author of The Six Disciplines of Breakthrough Learning: How to Turn Training and Development into Business Results, which has been called the most important book in the workplace learning field in the last decade.

Dr. Pollock has a passion for helping organizations maximize the return on their investments in learning and development.  He brings a unique perspective to that role, having served in senior management positions in line management, training, and strategy development, including Vice President, Companion Animal Division for Pfizer;  Vice President, Global Strategic Product Development for SmithKline Beecham Animal Health; President, IDEXX Informatics; and Assistant Dean for Curriculum Development, Cornell.

Dr. Pollock received his B.A. magna cum laude from Williams College, and his Ph.D. and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree with highest honors from Cornell University. He was named an International Learning Luminary by the L&OD Roundtable in Asia in 2013.
