Lasting Meeting and Conference Connections

As a kickoff for our October Learn St. Louis Conference, we are pleased to welcome Karen Hoffman as our August speaker. Karen will help us to boost our conference experiences and careers. She will share tips and strategies to help attendees go from building a “casual” relationship to a more “connected” relationship as well as ways to track and keep in touch with your connections.

Karen Hoffman’s “positive possibility” mindset has her always looking for ways to share ideas, information or introductions to help others achieve their goals or dreams.  In their book “Contacts Connections Collaboration-Building Your Business through Relationships”, Hoffman and Bobbi Linkemer also tapped others to present additional ways others use to excel at networking and building relationships. Karen will share these techniques to help us turn our meeting and conference introductions into lasting career connections.

In this session you will learn how to:

  • Set the stage to make connections.
  • Turn a contact into a connection.
  • Connect with someone you want to meet.
  • Make connections and stay connected before, during, and after networking.
  • Attract new connections in the online world.
  • Create your own "keep in touch" system.
