Far too often educators and talent development professionals rely on gut instincts and what they have heard works, without any evidence supporting their actions.

In this interactive session we will explore adult learning theories, with a concentration on Perry’s Theory of Cognitive Development, that will improve your practices in the workplace when applied.

Throughout this presentation, we will:

  • Examine proven adult learning theories
  • Identify your learners’ stage(s) of development
  • Relate adult learning theories to your workplace practices

This presentation will inspire you to think critically about how you can apply theories to your unique setting and practices.

Agenda:

6:00 - 6:05 pm   Welcome & Introductions
6:05 - 6:55 pm   Presentation
6:55- 7:00 pm   Learning Wrap-Up & Meeting Close
