Getting to the Heart of Employee Engagement

Les Landes, President of Landes & Associates

Organizations have been trying to crack the code on employee engagement for at least 30 years, with mediocre results.  This presentation will reveal how to break through to a level of engagement that gets people tuned in, turned on and eager to go the extra mile.

It is based on ideas from Les Landes’ recently published business fable, Getting to the Heart of Employee Engagement.  The book starts with the premise that employee engagement is powered mainly by the uniquely human qualities of imagination and free will.  Appreciating the significance of those forces and understanding how the two are inseparably connected is an essential first step in tapping the engagement potential of any workforce.

Building on that framework, Landes will offer practical ideas you can use in your organization – including approaches to learning and development – to create the kind of culture where employees love working and customers love doing business.

Research shows that opportunities for growth and development are significant drivers for employee engagement.  As the emphasis on promoting greater engagement continues to grow, so will the appreciation for the importance of a substantially expanded role for learning and development.

Everyone who attends will receive a “certificate of recognition” for something quite extraordinary – to be revealed the presentation.
