Case Study: Accelerating New Employee Productivity at Savvis, A CenturyLink Company

Speakers:
  • Robert Bilotti, Managing Director, Novita Training

  • James Sokolowski, Chief Learning Officer, Savvis, A CenturyLink Company

About the Webinar:

In 2010, Savvis Communications partnered with Novita Training to overhaul Savvis’ new employee onboarding program. Because of metrics that were put in place prior to the overhaul, Savvis was able to “quantify” the results of the efforts – one of which was a 58% reduction in new employee’s “time to full productivity.” While most would agree how impactful a well-developed new employee onboarding program can be, it’s not always clear how to go about quantifying that impact as well as implementing the changes necessary to “move the needle.” In this practical webinar, we’ll follow along as Savvis makes the leap to a formalized new employee onboarding program; the steps taken; and the results achieved. The webinar will also present a unique opportunity to see how vendor and client can combine forces to address the highly specialized set of skills needed to improve a company’s onboarding.

By attending this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Quantify the organization-wide benefits of an effective new employee onboarding program.
  • Recognize the features and components of a highly-successful new employee onboarding program.
  • Identify the process for improving your organization’s new employee onboarding program.

The webinar is based on a white paper that was published in Training Magazine in 2012: http://trainingmag.com/content/case-study-accelerating-new-employee-productivity-savvis-centurylink-company
