Professional Development Luncheons are held every other month. The purpose of our professional development luncheons is to provide a regular opportunity for learning for our members. The luncheons help empower our members to understand workplace learning challenges and opportunities that organizations are facing so they may add value to the organizations they serve. The luncheons are currently via Zoom (2021) at 12 Noon Central time for one hour. We hope to go back to in-person luncheons by the end of 2021. Registration is required, the current non-member fee is $10 per PD luncheon event. Note that in July 2021, non-members will be charged $15 for each PD luncheon event attended.
Special interest groups (SIGs) offer our members and guests informal opportunities for exploring professional development in specific areas of interest, opportunities for sharing their expertise with other members, and opportunities to network with and learn from peers. The ATD St. Louis Chapter offers two special interest groups: the Facilitator SIG, and our new Leadership SIG. The SIGs are currently held via Zoom due to the pandemic. The format includes networking, breakouts, small group sharing and it is a great forum for connecting with others. The Leadership SIG is designed for those that lead L&D or OD functions at their respective organizations. The Facilitator SIG is for those that are in a facilitation role or facilitate as part of their role within their organization. Registration is required. Currently, there is no charge for participation in the SIG events. In July 2021, non-members will be charged $15 for each SIG event they attend.
Meeting dates and registration information can be found on our Events Calendar.
Are you a trainer? A subject matter expert facilitating instruction? Anyone who facilitates learning for workforce talent development is welcome! These gatherings are a great way to meet, learn from, and trade tips with other facilitators in the greater St. Louis area.
