No-Show Policy for ASTD St. Louis Meetings:
Members and/or guests will have up to 5 days prior to a meeting to cancel. Due to obligations we have with the venue, cancellations not received within this time frame must be charged at the full price. If a member or guest RSVPs and indicates that s/he will pay at the door, then does not attend the meeting, that member or guest will be billed for the cost of the event. You are always welcome to send a substitute if your plans change unexpectedly.

Strengths & Talent Identification for Building Team and Individual Performance

Participants will learn how they can modify their relationship behaviors to improve their own individual performance and that of their teams.  The session will also cover methods used to gain commitment from other team members, manage conflict, and create a collaborative working environment.

Participants are encouraged to bring their Strengthsfinders’ or TalentProfiler reports. The report is optional, but can add to making a more individualized program session.*

Learning Objectives:

          To understand the benefit of identifying talent, history of this work

          Explore ways this concept is beneficial to building strong teams

          Create a take away plan for team building while utilizing individuals’ talents

          Learn about our own unique strengths and how we can use them

 

 






Ann M. Grana, President, AMG Group

After founding the AMG Group in May of 2004, Ann has worked with the programs of the Sterling Institute and the Bayer Institute for Health Care Communication. In August of 2008, AMG was named the first Midwest distributor of the products of the Sales Research Group. Ann is a certified  TalentProfiler™ coach. Her clients include St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, DePaul Hospital, the Washington University School of Medicine, and others.

Ann has been a featured speaker on the topic of communication skills and training for various seminars, including the HealthCare Business Women’s Association, National Association of Human Resources, the WeDo conference, the National City Small Business Speaker Series, City of Experts and eWomen Network. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia.
